Industrial Service This is an industrial project that we completed at Clairton Municipal Authority.
This is the most recent industrial project that we completed at the Motor Coils Plant in Braddock, PA
Our Company was called in by MOTOR COILS CO. to eliminate an enclosure over the heating furnaces that provided power to an existing bus duct. We utilized the existing parallel 350 Kcmil conductors from the Main Distribution Panel and installed a new wiring trough above the furnaces. We then installed 150' of paralleled 3" conduits from the overhead enclosure to a new 600 volt - 3Ø - fusible disconnect switch. We installed a tugger for wire pulling and then pulled a set of 350 Kcmil - THHN CU conductors to a newly installed wiring trough and then wired in and installed a new 600 volt - 3Ø - fusible disconnect switch. The end result was a 480 volt - 3Ø - Test stand for Motor Coils Co.
